Betty Martinez
Club Manager

Betty is the youngest of three children. She was born in Nayarit, Mexico and was raised in Provo, Utah.
She graduated from Independence High School in Provo, Utah where she was enrolled in Army JROTC and was Co-Founder and Vice-President of her high school's community service Key Club. She attended Pacific Union College in California and studied Political Science. Betty describes herself as a self-proclaimed writer with a deep founded dedication to community service.
Her work experience includes customer service and retail, restaurant and hotel management. More recently, she worked for the Hermosillo Municipal Government (IMCATUR) in conjunction with a non-profit for the promotion of eco-friendly tourism. Betty is fluent in both Spanish and English.
When she is not at work or engaged in another project, Betty enjoys writing, drawing, graphic design and hiking. Betty joined the our staff in the summer of 2012 and was hired as Club manager in 2017.

Rebecca Mendoza Zazueta

Rebecca is the youngest of four children, born in Hermosillo and raised in Kino Bay. She attended the University of Sonora where she majored in Psychology and is dedicated to protecting the environment. While in high school, she was part of the local Tenebaris dance group and later became the instructor of the team.
Her work experience began at the age of 15, and it includes customer service, bookkeeping & massage therapist. She is fluent in Spanish & English and when she is not at work, Rebecca enjoys dancing, reading & writing. Rebecca joined our staff in January 2018.

Ricardo Salcedo Melgoza
Facility Technician
Ricardo is a family man, born and raised in Kino Bay. He is married and has 4 children. He learned to be a responsible hard-working man at the age of 14 when he started his first job at the local water-purifying plant to help support his 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Ricardo has also worked as a fisherman, buying and selling product in Punta Chueca.
When he is not at work, Ricardo enjoys playing soccer & lifting weights. He also enjoys fishing on the weekends in the summer. Ricardo joined our staff in the summer of 2017.
